What has Cookie been up to??  He's very clever and always finds a new interesting spot to watch our class from.  Hopefully he sees us being Safe, Respectful, and Responsible!

A Very Kindergarten Christmas

Such a wonderful night full of fun Christmas songs from all of our Rowe Kindergarten classes.  We sang, "Santa Claus is Coming to Town".  Make sure you are being nice...Santa is checking his list!

Gingerbread House Creations!

Candy, Candy, and more CANDY!  Boys and girls had a blast decorating gingerbread houses last week.  Hopefully they arrived home in one piece, so that you could see their beautiful, yummy creations.

The Elf on the Shelf...Dec. 1, 2014

It was an exciting morning in our classroom.  An Elf arrived!!  He's here until Christmas to watch everyone and make sure that we are doing our work and being kind to our friends.  Today we voted on his name.  What a hard decision!!  Rocky?  Jingle?  Socky?  And the winner is.... Cookie!

We were GOBBLED!  A mystery package arrived in our doorway! Everyone got colored pencils and yummy m&m's!  We gave Ms. Emery's class pencil cases!

Science and Writing: Deer

To wrap up our non-fiction/informational writing unit we learned about Deer.  At the Science Station boys and girls explored deer antlers and deer droppings (in a container!).  During writing time we read a non-fiction book about deer and took notes.  From these notes authors wrote facts about deer.  Everyone loved this unit and our writing is definitely improving!

Disguising Tom Turkey

This week we have read several books about turkeys who disguise themselves in hopes of not being on the dinner table for Thanksgiving.  Students were challenged to disguise their own turkeys.  Boys and girls did a fantastic job!
