Writing Celebration

We just finished our first unit of writing with a celebration.  We invited Mrs. Wood's fourth graders down to our classroom.  First I read one of my favorite personal narrative stories...Seven Silly Eaters by Mary Ann Hoberman.  Then Kindergarten students shared their work with a fourth grade friend.  It was a wonderful event.  In the next few months we will be attending the fourth graders' writing celebration.
