Elf on the Shelf

On Monday a special little elf appeared in our classroom!!  He was sitting in a plant pot!  What a silly elf!  We read the book The Elf on the Shelf.  As the story goes, the elf visits during the day and then goes home to the North Pole to report to Santa about your activities during the day.  Hopefully our elf is telling Santa about all the amazing learning boys and girls are doing!  And great behavior!!

We brainstormed a list of names and then voted.  Our elf is named....Jack Frost.  Check out the blog daily to see where we find him!

A Feast for Thanksgiving!

Today the Kindergarten had a yummy Thanksgiving Feast!  First Mr. Sincerbeaux read us the book, Turkey Trouble.  The turkey is so smart he disguises himself to escape being eaten!!  Then Miss Vannah's class taught us a cute song about a turkey named Ted.  Mr. Cram even visited us in his funny turkey costume!  Best of all we shared popcorn, apple sauce, pumpkin pie, and cornbread muffins!    Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families!
