What keeps me busy on the weekends!

Since the beginning of March I have been busy every weekend with basketball or field hockey.  My sons, Andrew and Matthew, play AAU basketball.  Most weekends we are traveling to Connecticut or Massachusetts.  My daughters, Abby and Libby, play field hockey...and I coach!  BUSY, BUSY...but FUN!

Mr. S joined us today to read If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.  What a great excuse to enjoy chocolate chip cookies!  We also wrote our own stories called...If You Give Mr. Sincerbeaux a Cookie...

Our Swallowtail Butterfly Hatched!

While studying insects at the beginning of May we were surprised to find that our swallowtail butterfly had hatched!  Swallowtails stay in their chrysalis from Fall until Spring.  What a nice surprise!  We observed the butterfly, colored a picture, and wrote about the butterfly hatching.  Finally we released the butterfly outside.  Bye, Bye, Butterfly!

Happy Easter!

We had a great time looking for hidden Easter Eggs on our playground.  Everyone found 10 eggs and got to keep the candy and toys inside!  Thank you, Easter Bunny!!
