Writing Celebration

Last week we had a writing celebration with Mrs. Wood's fourth graders.  We just finished our HOW TO writing unit.  Boys and girls wrote How To Learn, How To Make a Snowman, How To Ride a Scooter.

Chinese New Year

We celebrated an early Chinese New Year with JoJo and her mom, Nina.  Nina is the Chinese teacher at the High School.   Throughout the week we sampled dumplings, learned how to sing the Chinese New Year song, and learned a lot about Chinese culture!  Every day boys and girls received a gift from JoJo and her family.  They got a lantern, Chinese knot and flag, book, and a special red envelope with Chinese money!!
