Kindergarten Community Meeting: October

Five Little Pumpkins Sitting on the Gate
Once a month all of the Kindergarten students join together for a Community Meeting.  This month Mrs. Gray's class taught us a cute song about Five Little Pumpkins and then we made a craft to go with the poem.

Aspire Higher Week Day 1

This week we will be learning about different careers and thinking about what we would like to be when we grow up.  Today we had two special presentations!

Grady's mom, Dr. Miller, a Family Medical Doctor, told us about her job.  When Dr. Miller was little, she went to Guy E. Rowe just like we do! From when she started school in Kindergarten until she became a Doctor, Dr. Miller was in school for 24 years!

We also learned about being a baker.  Mrs. Vail, Rowe's former Librarian, made us cupcakes to decorate.  Yum!  Mrs. Vail takes a lot of classes to learn new techniques to decorate cakes.
